New classics

The other day I was driving in my car, listening to the radio of course. And I turned to a station where a rockin' song was on. I could tell by the music that it was an 80s song, and I fell in love. I found out later it was by a band I liked Van Valen, well technically it was by their lead singer as a solo. But I love it when you find a new song, that was done a long time ago, by a band you love. Just if you are wondering it was "Your Love is Driving Me Crazy" by Sammy Hagar. That actually happens to me a lot. Even with songs I have heard before, maybe you learn to love it later, or you are in a type of mood. I am pretty sure I have heard this before, but it really affect me now. Since I have been doing this for a little while, you probably already know, I really love the beat and music, more than the lyrics. I do think they both have an equal role to make a song perfect, but if it doesn't have a killer beat and amazing melody, it probably won't catch my ear. Only a few songs, which I can name, completely get me by lyrics, but they do have a nive tune as well.
